A little every day beats a lot once a week
Twenty minutes a day builds stronger memory than three hours on Sunday.
Spacing beats cramming
Research on memory shows that practice spread over many days is remembered much longer than the same amount of practice crammed into one session. This is called spaced practice.
Cramming can feel productive, but most of it is forgotten within days.
Make it a habit
Choose a fixed time, such as straight after school or after dinner, and do 15–20 minutes of maths every day.
Go back to old topics too: a quick question on last month's topic keeps it fresh.
