Sleep, food and breaks
Your brain saves what you learned while you sleep. Don't skip it.
Sleep
While you sleep, your brain sorts and stores what you learned during the day. Staying up all night to study usually means you remember less, not more. Teenagers need about 8–10 hours.
Breaks
Study for about 25–30 minutes, then take a 5-minute break: stand up, stretch, drink water. After four sessions, take a longer break. Put your phone away while you study.
Food and water
Eat regular meals and drink water. Being hungry or thirsty makes it harder to concentrate.
